Richard Malveaux

Richard Malveaux is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the nuclear and aerospace industries. Currently serving as a Senior Level Specialist I&C Engineer with the Tennessee Valley Authority since July 2015, Malveaux is part of the Engineering Rapid Response Team, focusing on operational and maintenance issues in nuclear plant control systems. Previously, Malveaux held the role of Senior Level Electrical Systems Engineer at Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, offering expertise in electrical system maintenance and operational problem-solving. Prior experience includes a position as Nuclear Construction Field Engineer at Bechtel Power Corporation, managing engineering design and construction projects, and as a Space Shuttle Cargo Integration Safety Engineer at The Boeing Company, overseeing the electrical safety of cargo for space missions. Malveaux's career began in the United States Navy as an Electricians Mate, ensuring the proper operation of electrical components on naval vessels. Malveaux holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University, completed in 2009.
