Scott Scharf, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning different roles in various companies. Scott started their career at Gulf Power Company in 1999, where they worked as a Design Technician/Surveyor until 2001. Scott then joined Mesa Associates, Inc in 2001, where they primarily worked as an Electrical Engineer/Design Tech, focusing on substation physical design and grounding. In 2010, Scott joined the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) as an Electrical Engineer and later transitioned to a Senior Electrical Engineer role in 2014. From 2015 to 2020, they held the position of Project Manager in the Power System Operations group at TVA, where they were responsible for coordinating and managing transmission projects and programs. Currently, Scott holds the position of Senior Project Manager at TVA, utilizing their engineering background and business skills to manage projects effectively.

Scott Scharf, PMP holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, which they completed from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the same university, from 2004 to 2010. Their education also includes an Associate of Science (AS) degree in General Studies from Chattanooga State Community College, which they obtained from 2001 to 2004. Additionally, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2021.
