Emma Hopkins has a diverse work experience in the field of event management and operations. Emma started their career with Princess Cruises in 2005, where they worked as a Company Performance Manager, responsible for overseeing the entertainment experience onboard cruise ships.
In 2014, Emma joined Singapore Sports Hub as a Manager, later being promoted to Senior Manager and then Director of the Singapore Indoor Stadium. During their tenure, they successfully organized various major sporting and entertainment events, including the Southeast Asian Games and English Premier League Football.
In 2019, Emma joined Tennis Australia as the Manager of AO Event and Precinct Operations before being promoted to Head of Precinct Operations and finally Director of Precinct Operations and Logistics in 2022. Emma'srole involves managing operations and logistics for the Australian Open.
Throughout their career, Emma has demonstrated strategic expertise and operational proficiency in managing and executing large-scale events in the sports and entertainment industry.
Emma Hopkins obtained a Bachelor of Business in Event Management from APM College of Business and Communication, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts in Dance at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 2000 to 2002. In addition, they have obtained a certification in Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn in 2020.
