Eric Rose is the Head of Clinical Informatics at TenSixteen Bio. Eric has over 10 years of experience in the field of clinical informatics and has worked with some of the largest healthcare organizations in the world.
Rose began their career as a member of the Robert Bree Collaborative, a group that worked with the State of Washington on healthcare initiatives. Eric then spent two years as the Vice President of Clinical Informatics at Intelligent Medical Objects, a company that provides software and services to healthcare organizations.
In 2012, Rose joined the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as the Chief Terminologist for Knowledge Based Systems. In this role, they were responsible for leading a team that worked on projects related to legacy EHR systems, EHR modernization, data standardization, semantic interoperability, health API implementation, standards enhancement, and clinical knowledge representation.
Rose has been with TenSixteen Bio since April 2020 and has been instrumental in helping the company transition to a new EHR system. Eric is a respected leader in the field of clinical informatics and is passionate about improving healthcare through technology.
Eric Rose was educated at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Brown University, and Oregon Health & Science University. Eric holds a M.D., Sc.B., and Graduate Certificate in Medical Informatics. Eric is certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine in Board Certification in Clinical Informatics and by the American Board of Family Medicine in Board Certification in Family Medicine.
