Bailey James has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Bailey began their career as a Staff Editor for Plum Creek Review in 2012 while also working as a Caterer and Campus Dining Services Employee at Oberlin College. In 2014, they took on multiple roles including Marketing Assistant for Macmillan Education, Teaching Assistant for Oberlin College's Creative Writing Program, and Cofounder and Executive Editor at Silver Spork News. Bailey also worked as a Learning Solutions Associate at Macmillan Learning from 2015 to 2017. Bailey then joined CrowdJustice as a Case Success and Support Manager in 2017 before transitioning to Tenstreet, LLC where they held roles as a Business Development Representative and later as a Content and Marketing Specialist. Most recently, Bailey pursued their passion as a Playwright in 2019. Throughout their various positions, Bailey has gained experience in content creation, marketing, business development, case management, and teaching.
Bailey James began their education at Jenks High School, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. They then pursued higher education at Oberlin College from 2010 to 2014, earning a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing, English, and History. In 2014, Bailey attended the Summer Publishing Institute at New York University, focusing on Magazine and Book Publishing. Additionally, Bailey obtained several certifications, including "Fundamentals of a Redesign" from Lynda.com in September 2018, "Advanced Google Analytics" from Google in September 2019, and "Google Analytics for Beginners" from Google in September 2019.
