Huib van Bockel has a diverse work experience, starting as a Senior Brand Manager at Unilever in 1999. Huib worked on various brands such as Flora, Lipton, Bertolli, and Unox, where they were responsible for innovation, communication, and brand activation. In 2005, they joined MTV Networks as the Marketing Manager and Head of Creative for TMF, where they oversaw marketing, creative, and events like the TMF Awards. Huib then founded the fashion company Finkelbaum in 2006, creating and distributing fashion products. In 2007, Huib joined Red Bull, first as the Marketing Director for the Netherlands and later becoming the Head of Marketing for Red Bull UK, leading a team in sport, culture, brand, field marketing, and communications. Huib also contributed to the establishment of Red Bull Media House in the UK. In 2015, they worked as an Author and Speaker at The Social Brand, advising and speaking on ambitious brands and start-ups in the Social Era. In 2016, Huib founded TENZING Natural Energy, pioneering plant-based and sustainable energy drinks.
