Ty Abbott

Ty Abbott has extensive work experience in the civil engineering field. Ty started their career at Parsons Brinckerhoff as a Project Manager and worked there for eight years. Ty then joined Cole & Associates as an Infrastructure Group Manager for ten years. After that, they served as Vice President at Sterling Engineering for one year. In 2013, they became the President of the APWA Missouri Chapter. Later that year, they joined ABNA Engineering as a Civil Department Manager for four years. In 2018, they joined TREKK Design Group, LLC as a Senior Project Manager/Civil Lead, where they stayed until 2020. Currently, they are a Senior Project Manager at Tepa, LLC, responsible for maintaining and growing the civil engineering practice, client relations, business development, staff development, project management, and design.

Ty Abbott earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where they studied from 1991 to 1993. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Physics at William Jewell College from 1987 to 1991.

Later on, Ty pursued higher education and achieved a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, studying from 1997 to 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Ty Abbott has obtained several certifications. These include "Using Microsoft Teams and Outlook Together: Maximizing Productivity" from LinkedIn, which they obtained in November 2021.
