Johann Karkheck has extensive experience in mechanical engineering and design. Johann most recently worked at Terabase Energy as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, where they were involved in new system design, development, prototyping, testing, and optimization. Prior to that, they worked at Ojjo, Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer, focusing on the design and prototyping of solar tracker foundation systems and field support. Johann also worked at Tesla as a Mechanical Design Engineer, responsible for designing various components for Solar Roof systems. Earlier in their career, Johann worked at Zep Solar as a Product Development Engineer, developing mounting solutions for solar panels, and at the California Energy Commission as a Mechanical Engineer overseeing contracts and grant solicitations related to renewable energy and smart grid development. Additionally, they have experience as a Product Designer in the cycling industry and in roles involving inventory maintenance and retail management.
Johann Karkheck pursued their education chronologically as follows.
