Jeorge Hurtarte

Jeorge Hurtarte, PhD, MBA has an extensive work experience in the semiconductor industry. Jeorge has held various senior leadership roles at companies such as Teradyne, Lam Research, LitePoint, and Teradyne. These roles include positions in product strategy, marketing, engineering, and innovation. Jeorge has also worked as a visiting professor of electrical engineering at Auburn University and served as the CEO of a start-up company. Prior to that, they held senior-level positions at Transwitch and Rockwell Semiconductors. Jeorge began their career as a digital engineer at Johnson Controls.

Jeorge Hurtarte, PhD, MBA has a strong background in both engineering and business. Jeorge earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UC Irvine in 1983. Jeorge then went on to complete a Master of Science in Computer Science from National University, although the dates are unknown. In 1985, they graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Electronics with a degree in Electrical/Electronics Maintenance and Repair Technology. This educational foundation led him to pursue advanced degrees. In 2002, they obtained an Executive MBA from Auburn University, specializing in an undisclosed field. Continuing their educational journey, they completed a Master of Science in Telecommunications Engineering from Walden University in 2008. Finally, in 2009, they earned their highest degree, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Auburn University. Additionally, Jeorge holds the professional certification of a Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer from the State of California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists, which they obtained in 2003.
