Alexandru Stânean

Alexandru Stânean is the current CEO at Teraplast SA. Prior to this, they served as the Export Director, increasing the international presence of Teraplast Group through the founding of international subsidiaries in Moldova, Hungary and Serbia. Alexandru also served as a Non Executive Director, responsible for the IPO of Teraplast which raised EUR 14 mn from the Bucharest stock exchange, and was actively involved in taking over the company on behalf of investors. In September 2017, they became the General Manager at Agro Invest Group and was responsible for business restructuring, cash-flow management, debt restructuring, developing sales and distribution, and increasing export sales. Alexandru left Agro Invest Group in January 2018 to become the Director at TeraSteel Serbia. In April 2011, they became the President at TeraSteel (Plastsistem) and held this position until January 2017. Prior to their work with Teraplast, they served as an Analyst at Magis Investment from September 2005 to August 2010.

Alexandru Stânean studied business administration and management at the University of Hull, where they earned an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA). Alexandru also has a Master's degree in Foreign Trade from Universitatea „Babeș-Bolyai” din Cluj-Napoca, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the same school.
