Shannon Broekhoven

Shannon Broekhoven has extensive experience in software development. Shannon began their career in 2012 as an Application Developer at Communitech, where they designed and built a web application in Ruby on Rails. In 2013, they worked as a Software Developer at Teledyne DALSA, where they worked in C# and ASP.NET. In 2014, they held two co-op positions, one at IBM where they built an automated functional test infrastructure, and the other at Intuit, where they worked on a mobile app for both Android and iOS. In 2015, they worked as a Product Prototyper at the D{} Innovation Lab at Deloitte Canada, where they worked on the full stack. From 2016 to 2020, they worked as an Intermediate Software Developer at Sortable, where they built and maintained a product that served ads to a variety of websites. Shannon then moved to Shopify in 2020, where they worked as a Frontend Developer. In 2022, they began working as a Senior Fullstack Engineer at both Terminal and Brightline. Shannon is currently a Senior Full Stack Engineer at CollegeVine.

Shannon Broekhoven completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at the University of Waterloo from 2011 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) from Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School between 2007 and 2011.
