Nicole Tran

Nicole Tran has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Nicole started their career at Oxy as an Accounting Clerk Contractor in the Revenue/Cash Department from February 2008 to May 2011. Nicole then moved on to become a JIB Staff Accountant in the Joint Interest Billing Department, supporting Permian and New Mexico Assets, from May 2011 to January 2014. Following this, they worked as a Joint Interest Audit Accountant from January 2014 to July 2014.

In 2014, Nicole joined California Resources Corporation (CRC) as an Owner Relations Sr. Accountant. During the startup spinoff from Occidental Oil and Gas, they led the implementation of the Owner Relations Department and played a crucial role in creating departmental procedures and forms. Nicole also assisted the Joint Interest Billing team with the pre and post spinoff process. Nicole worked in this role until July 2015 and then took on the role of Owner Relations Lead from July 2015 to September 2016 at CRC, where they supported the monthly royalty payment check write process, resolved owner inquiries, and supported the Revenue Cash team.

Nicole currently works at Terra Energy Partners LLC as a Revenue Accountant. Nicole started as a Revenue Accountant in October 2016 and then got promoted to Senior Revenue Accountant in August 2021.

Nicole Tran attended the University of Houston from 2006 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Accounting.
