Stephen Riave

Stephen Riave is currently an English teacher and Social Studies teacher for grades 5-8 at Terra Marin School. Prior to their current position, Stephen was the Assistant Head of School for Teaching and Learning at Adda Clevenger K-8 School from August 2016 to August 2017. Stephen has also been an Elementary School Principal at various schools including KUSD from July 2011 to June 2012, Alameda Unified School District from July 2009 to June 2011, and West Contra Costa Unified School District from August 2000 to June 2009.

Mr. Riave has a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from San Francisco State University, a Clear Multi-Subject Teaching Credential in Elementary Education and Teaching from Humboldt State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Art/Art Studies, Photography from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Stephen Riave reports to Wendy Xa, Head of School . They are on a team with Haku Asaki - PE & Earth Education, K - 8, Mike Burkett - Science, 5-8, and Vicky Lu - Math, 5-6, Mandarin, K-8.
