Arun Quayum

Arun Quayum has a diverse range of work experience. Starting in 2022, they worked as a Group Portfolio and Finance Manager at Virtua, where they were responsible for budgeting and forecasting, finance business partnering, and financial modeling. Prior to that, from 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Financial Planning Analyst at SL2 Capital, where they focused on internal controls, management reporting, and data analysis. From 2017 to 2021, they served as an Audit and Accounts Executive at MHA MacIntyre Hudson, where they provided financial advisory services and worked on cashflow management and annual budgets. Before that, from 2016 to 2017, Arun worked as a Policy Manager at Ofgem, where they were involved in policy drafting, stakeholder management, and incentive management. From 2013 to 2016, they were an Economist at Ofwat, where they conducted qualitative analysis, economic modeling, and cost analysis. Starting in 2012, Arun held various positions including Economics Intern at the Department of Culture, Media and Sport, Associate at Mirus Partnership, and Intern at the UK Department for Education. Arun also worked as a Camp Counsellor at the Maine Golf and Tennis Academy in 2008.

Arun Quayum completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Economics at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 2010 to 2011. Prior to this, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science B.Sc.(Hons) in Economics at the University of Southampton from 2007 to 2010. Arun's educational journey began at Ashmole School, where they obtained their A-levels in Mathematics, Biology, and Economics from 2005 to 2007.
