Dávid Katona

Dávid Katona has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Dávid started their career in 2011 as a Commercial Performer at Kapos Coop Zrt. In 2012, they worked as a Trainee at MVH. From 2013 to 2014, they served as a Software Consultant at NEXT Farming/FarmFacts GmbH, where they provided support and helpdesk services for agricultural software. In 2014, they joined E.R.T. Hungary Ltd. as a Desktop Support and System Administrator, where they provided IT helpdesk services to clients and managed daily requests. Dávid was promoted to the role of IT Team Lead in 2015, responsible for leading a small team and ensuring the overall success of projects. In 2016, they became the CIO/CTO at E.R.T. Hungary Ltd., overseeing the company's IT operations. Since November 2018, Dávid has been serving as the Director of IT Operations and Infrastructure at TerraCycle. In addition to their professional responsibilities, Dávid has gained expertise in technologies such as Skype, Teamviewer, Google admin, and more.

Dávid Katona's education history begins with their enrollment at Noszlopy Gáspár Közgazdasági Szakközépiskola in 2004, where they studied informatics without obtaining a degree. Dávid continued their education at the same institution from 2008 to 2009, earning an Associate's degree in Economic Informatics. Following this, they attended Kaposvár University from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Agricultural Engineering with a focus on Economic and Rural Development.

In addition to their academic achievements, Dávid Katona has also obtained several certifications. In November 2018, they became a Certified Stormshield Network Administrator through Stormshield. In March 2016, they completed several technical training programs offered by F-Secure Corporation, including F-Secure Freedome for Business - Technical Training (Basic), F-Secure Policy Manager and Client Security - Technical Training (Basic), and F-Secure Protection Service for Business Technical Training (Basic). In February 2016, they also obtained the F-Secure Partner Sales Certification.
