Research and Development Production Manager at Terradepth

Adam Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Their most recent role was as a Research and Development Production Manager at Terradepth, starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Mechanical Technician at the same company from August 2021 to April 2022.

Before their time at Terradepth, Adam was the Head Brewer and Owner of Smitty's Brewing, a part-time brewery business they started in October 2015. Adam's earliest work experience was in the US Navy, where they served for two decades. Adam held various positions, including Machinist Mate First Class (Aux)(Submarines), Maintenance and Material Manager, Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, and Safety Officer. In these roles, they worked on nuclear submarines, managing and maintaining auxiliary equipment and systems, training and overseeing crews, and ensuring safety and quality standards were met.

Adam Smith earned a Bachelor's Degree in Science Workforce Education & Development from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, where they studied from 2000 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's Degree in General Studies from American Military University, where they studied from 2008 to 2016. In terms of additional certifications, they completed a course on "Pitching Yourself" offered by Jodi Glickman through LinkedIn in November 2020. Adam also holds the MACS CFC-12 certification from MACS, which they obtained in May 1996, as well as the CFC/HCFC Refrigerant Processing Certificate Verification from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which they obtained in May 1994. Additionally, they hold a Micro Brewery License from Washington State, although the specific date of acquisition is not provided.
