George Tong

George Tong is an experienced technology leader with a robust background in software engineering and team management. Currently serving as a Tech Lead at Terradot since February 2024, George focuses on building tools to combat climate change. Previously, George held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Glacier, where significant achievements included improving robot pick rates, enhancing infrastructure, and automating critical processes. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Robinhood, where George founded the Load and Fault Team, and internship experiences at Lyft, Zynga, and the U.S. Army Research Laboratory. George holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland and is a co-founder of Terrapin Freelancers.
