Aubrey Vella

Aubrey Vella has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2006, Aubrey worked as a Recruiting Assistant at Latham & Watkins and later interned for US Senator Carl Levin. In 2007, Aubrey joined Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP as part of their Central Services team. Aubrey then moved on to Squire, Sanders & Dempsey, first as a Regional Marketing Assistant and then as a Regional Marketing Coordinator in 2010.

In the same year, Aubrey also worked as a Legal Intern at the Oakland Unified School District, Office of the General Counsel. Aubrey had a brief stint at the University of San Francisco as a Research Assistant to Professor Jack Garvey, focusing on legal institutional infrastructure related to nuclear forensics.

From 2010 to 2015, Aubrey worked as an Associate Attorney at Robbins Family Law, specializing in family and divorce law with a focus on high-asset property division, support, and custody matters. Following that, Aubrey joined Affirm, Inc. as a Manager Human Resources, where they helped build the company from the ground up. Aubrey's roles at Affirm also included being an HR Business Partner and a Principal HR Business Partner.

Currently, Aubrey holds the position of Vice President People Team at Terraformation Inc., starting in 2021.

Aubrey Vella received a Bachelor's degree in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy from Michigan State University, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. They then pursued a Juris Doctor (JD) degree at the University of San Francisco School of Law from 2008 to 2011. Aubrey Vella became certified and admitted to The State Bar of California in December 2011.
