Bryan Kattwinkel

Bryan Kattwinkel has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Bryan currently serves as a Senior Software Engineer at Terran Orbital Corporation since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Leonardo DRS as a Principal Software Engineer from 2010 to 2022, contributing to the development of embedded controllers and software for Intel systems, Android apps, and Linux kernels.

Before that, Kattwinkel was a Senior Software Engineer at Adapt4 LLC from 2007 to 2010, where they played a key role in developing embedded firmware for the XG2 cognitive radio and designing various protocols and interfaces. Bryan also worked at Data Flow Systems, Inc. as a Contract Programmer from 1982 to 2006, involved in creating a radio-based monitoring system for water utilities and later developing a Java-based user interface and embedded Linux firmware.

Kattwinkel gained experience as a Software Contractor at Kattwinkel Komputing from 1998 to 2005, undertaking internet-related projects and enhancing firmware for various systems. Bryan also worked at Digiquest Multimedia Inc as a Developer and Senior Project Manager from 1994 to 1998, leading teams in the development of educational software and multimedia encyclopedias.

Additionally, Kattwinkel worked as a Contract Programmer at Scientific Atlanta in 1992, L3Harris Technologies from 1981 to 1989, Eastman Kodak Company from 1980 to 1981, and NCR Corporation from 1977 to 1980, where they developed firmware, managed projects, and collaborated with different teams.

Bryan Kattwinkel pursued their education with a strong focus on computer science. Bryan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech, where they attended from 1973 to 1977. Following their undergraduate studies, Bryan furthered their education by enrolling at the University of Central Florida from 1984 to 1987. During this period, they earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Science.
