Hughes Wike

Hughes Wike, PE, PMP, currently serves as Manager of Electrical Systems Design at TerraPower LLC, a nuclear energy technology company focused on developing sustainable and low-carbon energy sources. Previous experience includes Project Manager for Engineering at the Port of Tacoma, where impactful projects were managed in one of North America's largest container ports. Hughes Wike also held positions at NuScale Power as an Electrical Engineer working on small modular reactor designs, and at Xcel Energy, progressing from Engineer to Supervisor in Electrical/Instrumentation Design Engineering, where significant modifications and projects were implemented. The early career included a co-op position at Nuclear Management Company, LLC, focusing on predictive motor testing and maintenance recommendations. Hughes Wike holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
