Monica Tarqueno

Monica (Hundt) Tarqueno has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Monica is currently serving as the Director of Lab Facilities and Operations at TerraPower LLC since May 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Exelon Nuclear from 2010 to 2020, holding various positions such as Senior Reactor Operator, Initial License Trainee, Lead Mechanical Maintenance Planner, and Maintenance Planner. Monica also had experience at Brown Printing Company as Co-mail Manager, Co-Mail Coordinator, and Project Engineer from 2007 to 2009. Monica began their career in the United States Navy as a Reactor Mechanical Officer on board USS Dwight D. Eisenhower and later served as a Strike Officer on USS Antietam.

Monica (Hundt) Tarqueno has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Geology/Earth Science from the United States Naval Academy, which they obtained from 1998 to 2002. Additionally, they have a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Kaplan University, which they earned from 2008 to 2010.
