Peter Tran

Peter Tran, PMP, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Peter began their career at Bank of America as a Teller Operations Specialist, where they managed a team and supported with customer complaints. After that, Peter worked as an Instructor at The Princeton Review, teaching and guiding students. Peter then transitioned to Mount San Antonio College as a Supplemental Instructor, where they facilitated group study sessions for Physics and Engineering courses.

Peter's passion for engineering led him to roles at Aerojet Rocketdyne and ISEC, Inc. At Aerojet Rocketdyne, they served as a Quality Engineer, responsible for verifying multiple suppliers and technologies. Peter also worked as an Associate Quality Assurance Engineer before joining ISEC, Inc. as a Project Engineer.

Additionally, Peter devoted their time as a Volunteer and EMT at the King County Search and Rescue Association. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Supplier Project Engineer at TerraPower, where they mentor junior project engineers, develops procurement specifications, and executes supplier projects.

Peter Tran, PMP holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, which they obtained from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 2009 to 2011. Peter also holds an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Mechanical Engineering and Physics from Mt. San Antonio College, where they studied from 2001 to 2009. In 2016, they earned a Certificate in Project Management from Bellevue College. Additionally, Peter Tran has obtained certifications as an Emergency Medical Technician from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians, expected in 2023, and as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in September 2021.
