Niall Haggerty

Niall Haggerty is a Product Development Scientist at Terumo Aortic since April 2019, with a robust background in research and development across multiple roles. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at the University of Glasgow, focusing on point-of-care medical diagnostic devices, and as a Scientist at Qnostics Ltd, where Niall was involved in assay development and quality control testing. Niall also held a position as a Senior QC Technician at Thermo Fisher Scientific, ensuring compliance with various regulatory standards. Earlier work includes a student placement at Qnostics Ltd, developing drug resistance constructs, and a postgraduate tenure at the University of Nottingham where interdisciplinary research on DNA biosensors was conducted. Niall Haggerty holds a PhD in Pharmacy from the University of Nottingham and multiple master's degrees in Industrial Biotechnology, Bioengineering, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering.
