Sirena Garcia

Sirena Garcia is a Research and Development Engineer at Terumo Neuro, with prior experience as an Engineer I in the Engineering Development Program at MicroVention-Terumo. Sirena has also served as a Quality Assurance Administrator at EControls, focusing on regulatory compliance through documentation review for Production Part Approval Processes. In an earlier role as a Peer Mentor at The University of Texas at San Antonio, Sirena supported first-year students in their academic and personal transitions. Additionally, during participation in the NSF REU Advanced Manufacturing program at Texas State University, Sirena conducted research on mental fatigue and human factors using EEG technology. Sirena holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
