Stefaan Beyaert

Stefaan Beyaert currently serves as the Group General Counsel for Tree Energy Solutions since January 2023, having previously held various senior legal positions at ENGIE from 2012 to 2022, including Chief Legal, Ethics and Procurement Officer and Chief Legal, Ethics and Regulatory Officer. Prior to ENGIE, Stefaan worked as Senior Legal Counsel for GDF SUEZ Energy Benelux & Germany, providing legal support to the power generation sector and business development activities in North-East Europe. Early legal experience includes roles as an attorney at Stibbe and Eubelius, as well as a voluntary scientific researcher and teaching assistant at Ghent University, focusing on contract law. Stefaan holds degrees from Ghent University, Katholieke Universiteit Brussel, and a CMMP from Vlerick Business School.
