Jörg Diesfeld

Jörg Diesfeld is the Chief Financial Officer at tesa. Jörg has over fifteen years of experience in finance and strategic leadership.

Diesfeld began their career with Beiersdorf in 2007 as the Finance Director for Russia, Ukraine, and the CIS. In 2012, they were promoted to Vice President of Finance / CFO for Beiersdorf North America. In this role, they were responsible for the financial planning and analysis, accounting, IT, and legal functions for the North American management unit.

In 2016, Diesfeld was again promoted to Regional Vice President Finance / CFO Americas. In this role, they were responsible for the financial planning and analysis, accounting, IT, and legal functions for the Americas region.

Diesfeld has a proven track record of delivering results and providing operational and long-term financial and strategic leadership. Jörg is a trusted advisor to executive management and Board of Directors and has played a key role in the success of Beiersdorf.

After completing their high school education, Jörg Diesfeld pursued a degree in business administration at the University of Münster. Jörg then went on to earn their MBA from the same university. Afterwards, they obtained their PhD in business administration from the Leuphana University of Lüneburg. Finally, they became a qualified banker from the Deutsche Bank AG in Muenster, Germany.
