Amanda Fisher

Amanda Fisher has extensive work experience in the field of Quality Control. Amanda is currently working at Tessera Therapeutics as the Director of Quality Control, a role they have held since February 2024. Prior to this, they worked at Repertoire Immune Medicines as an Associate Director of QC from October 2021 to January 2023.

Amanda also has a significant tenure at bluebird bio, where they held multiple roles. Amanda started as a Research Associate in September 2017 and progressed to become a Scientist III at Merck in October 2014. Amanda also worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Delaware from August 2012 to October 2014.

In their roles at bluebird bio, Amanda managed teams responsible for method lifecycle activities, drug product release and stability testing, and authoring relevant drug substance and product content for regulatory filings. Amanda also specialized in method validation and transfer.

Additionally, Amanda has experience as a QC Analyst III at Shire Pharmaceuticals from October 2015 to September 2017 and as a Research Associate at Nemours, where they conducted animal behavioral studies related to Rett Syndrome.

Amanda Fisher completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Forensic Biology from Delaware State University in 2010. Amanda later pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Molecular Biology, Genetics, and Biochemistry from the University of Delaware, completing their degree in 2014. In 2017, they obtained a certification in Regulatory Affairs from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS).
