Dong Fu

Dong Fu is a Senior Scientist at Tessera Therapeutics, specializing in Discovery and Translational Sciences since May 2023. Previously, Dong held the position of Senior Scientist at Frontera Therapeutics from March 2022 to April 2023. At the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Dong served as a Research Assistant Professor from March 2017 to March 2022, focusing on liver cell biology and hepatic pharmacology/toxicology. Prior to that, Dong was a Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Sydney from September 2012 to January 2017, where research involved liver pharmacology/toxicology and mentoring students. Dong's early career includes a role as a Visiting Research Scientist/Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the National Institutes of Health from March 2007 to August 2012, with research on liver cell biology. Dong's academic journey began as a Research Officer in Cancer Pharmacology at the University of Sydney from January 2006 to January 2007. Dong holds a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Sydney, focusing on cell biology and cancer chemotherapy.
