James D. has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. James started their career as an Electro-Optical Technician at E Ink Corporation in 2010. James then worked as a Systems Engineer at RoviSys from 2012 to 2013 before becoming a Process Controls Engineer at Hallam-ICS from 2013 to 2014. James then worked as an Automation Engineer at Enterprise System Partners Limited from June 2014 to December 2014, followed by a role as an Automation Engineer at Amgen from December 2014 to January 2017. From January 2017 to October 2018, they worked as a Flight Controls Engineer at Top Flight Technologies, Inc.

James then transitioned to the biotech industry, starting as an Associate Manager, Lab IT Engineer at bluebird bio from December 2018 to January 2020. James was promoted to Manager, IT, Lab Engineer at bluebird bio from January 2020 to November 2021. James then joined 2seventy bio as a Manager, Lab IT Engineer from November 2021 to March 2022 before progressing to Senior Manager, Lab IT Engineering from February 2022 to May 2022.

Currently, James is working as a Principal Engineer, Digital Lab Systems at Moderna from May 2022 to September 2022. James then joined Tessera Therapeutics as a Principal Engineer, Lab IT in September 2022.

James D. obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aviation Science, Flight Training Concentration from Bridgewater State University from 2004 to 2008. Afterwards, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electromechanical Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2012. Currently, they are enrolled at Fitchburg State University, where they are working towards a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science, beginning in 2022 and expected to complete in 2023.
