Victor Burks

Victor Burks is a highly experienced planning professional currently serving as the Director of Planning Services at GLMV Architecture since May 2023. Previously, Burks held the position of Senior Planner with the City of Olathe from July 2020 to May 2023 and worked as a Senior Project Manager at Bartlett & West from August 2018 to March 2020. Earlier roles include Project Manager, Planning at McClure Engineering Company and Team Leader, Planning at Shafer, Kline & Warren, Inc. Burks also has experience as a Senior Project Planner at Allenbrand-Drews & Associates and served as Community Development Director for the City of Raymore, Missouri. Burks possesses extensive expertise in comprehensive plans, development processes, and economic development initiatives, as well as guiding communities in annexation and revitalization projects. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor of General Studies in American History from the same institution.
