Jung-Hoon Lee has a diverse work experience in the field of biochemistry and research. Their most recent role was as the Head of Cryo-EM Lab at Proteros biostructures GmbH starting in October 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Group Lead at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry since August 2017. From 2015 to 2017, they held positions at Samsung Bioepis, first as a Principal Scientist/Senior Manager and then as a Senior Scientist. Before that, Lee worked as a Senior Scientist at Samsung Electronics from 2012 to 2014. They started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Joan & Sanford I. Jung-Hoon Lee earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry from both the Max Planck Society and the Technical University of Munich during the years 2006-2010.
