Danish M. Sarwar

Danish M. Sarwar is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Engineering Lead for Protection & Control at Tetra Tech since December 2015. Previously, Danish held the position of Protection & Control Designer & Project Lead at Stantec, where significant projects included leading the Hydro One PCT-In-A-Box-2 Project and designing protection and control systems for various upgrades. Earlier roles included Engineering Researcher at McMaster University, focusing on IEC 61850 standards and substation communication, and an Engineering Coordinator intern at Hydro One. Danish's background also includes hands-on experience as an Assembly Technician at Martinrea International, with a solid educational foundation comprising an MEng in Design and a Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering from McMaster University, alongside an advanced diploma in Robotics Automation and Control from Humber College.
