Gustavo Carrera

Gustavo Carrera is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in project finance and operations management. Currently serving as Project Finance Manager and Operations Manager / Assistant Chief of Party for the PATRP Project at Tetra Tech since September 2014, Gustavo previously held significant roles at USAID, including Director of Operations overseeing a development program budget of $65 million and Financial Manager providing guidance on financial operations. Earlier in their career, Gustavo worked in various financial management positions at Banco Pichincha, SALUD S.A., OSO LLANTERA NACIONAL S.A., and Firmesa Industrial Cia. Ltda., where responsibilities encompassed financial reporting, policy development, and strategic financial analysis. Gustavo holds a Master of Arts in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis International Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Catholic University of Quito.
