Joanna Rose-Gross attended North Shore High School before continuing their education at SUNY Geneseo, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology in 2015. Joanna then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in College Student Personnel Administration at Illinois State University, which they completed in 2017. In 2018, they obtained two additional certifications: an Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) Qualifying Administrator from IDI, LLC and a Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) Instructor from the QPR Institute.
