Luis Tovar

Luis Tovar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in dispute resolution, grievance handling, and contract negotiations, serving as an AFT Field Representative at the Texas American Federation of Teachers since January 2000. Prior to this role, Tovar worked as an Administrative Assistant at the University of New Mexico Press from 1997 to 1999, where responsibilities included managing office supplies and proofreading sales catalogs. Tovar also gained management experience as the Front Desk Manager at the Royal Hotel from 1995 to 1997, overseeing the front desk, housekeeping department, and restaurant staff.
