Craig Dowdell

Craig Dowdell has extensive experience in emergency management and law enforcement, currently serving as a Sergeant in Special Operations Medics with the Fulton County Sheriff's Office since March 2023. Previously, Craig held various roles, including Deputy Sheriff for VIPER Operations, Task Force Officer with the FBI, and Lieutenant-Homeland Security Officer with the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department. Craig's expertise encompasses Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) response, critical infrastructure protection, and tactical emergency medical services. An accomplished educator, Craig has also been an Agency Instructor II with Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service since August 2016. Craig's educational background includes a Master's degree in Security Studies from the Naval Postgraduate School and certifications in homeland security and emergency management.
