Jay Moeller is an experienced training manager and instructor currently overseeing multiple programs within the Preparedness Program of the Emergency Services Training Institute at Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service since August 2017. Previous roles include serving as a SOG Team Leader at the Federal Bureau of Investigation, managing a team of Special Agents and overseeing training and budget management from September 1991 to July 2017. Additional positions at the FBI involved curriculum development and tactical training management for new agents. Earlier experience includes working as an Engineering Administrative Assistant at General Dynamics. Jay Moeller holds a Professional Certificate in Certified Training Professional from Texas A&M University, a BBA in Accounting and Finance from Texas State University, and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy’s 202nd Session in Law Enforcement Management.
