Ken Cain is an experienced law enforcement professional with over two decades of service in the Connecticut State Police, currently serving as Lieutenant Colonel and Office of Field Operations Commander. Throughout a distinguished career, Ken has held various leadership positions, including Acting Major for the Eastern District, and Captain roles in Troop E Montville and Troop F Westbrook. Ken has led significant units such as the Connecticut Intelligence Center and was responsible for Internal Affairs investigations. Additionally, Ken is an adjunct instructor with Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service, teaching critical infrastructure preparedness. Ken holds a Juris Masters degree from Liberty University, a Graduate Certificate in Leadership from the FBI National Academy, and a Master’s Certificate in Criminal Justice from the University of Virginia, alongside a Bachelor of Science from the University of New Haven. Ken also served as Past President of the Connecticut State Police Emerald Society.
