Vita Vaughn

Vita Vaughn has extensive work experience in marketing, communications, and web development. Vita started their career as a Design Consultant at GKG.NET, Inc. in 2006 and worked there until 2010. In 2010, they briefly worked as a Contract employee at Creative Dimensions. Vita then became a Business Owner at Vaughn Designs from 2010 to 2013.

Afterwards, Vita joined Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) as a Web Developer in October 2011, where they worked until December 2016. Vita then progressed to the role of Marketing Manager from January 2017 to February 2020. Vita further advanced within TEEX as the Associate Director of Marketing and Communications from February 2020 to February 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Marketing and Communications and Chief Marketing Officer at TEEX, starting in February 2022.

Vita Vaughn obtained their Master's Degree in Marketing from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, which they pursued from 2016 to 2019. Prior to their graduate studies, they attended Sam Houston State University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a degree in Advertising with a focus on Graphic Design. In addition to their formal education, Vita obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021.
