Michael Shannon Arm

Michael Shannon, ARM has extensive experience in the field of risk management. Michael started their career at Allstate as a member of the Catastrophe Unit from 2001 to 2004. Michael then joined Catholic Mutual Group as a Risk Manager from 2004 to 2010. In 2010, they joined the Texas Association of Counties and held various roles such as Risk Management Consultant, Manager for Risk Consulting, and Assistant Director for Underwriting and Risk Consulting. Currently, they serve as the Director of Risk Management Services, overseeing the strategic planning and financial integrity of the Texas Association of Counties Risk Management Pool.

Michael Shannon, ARM, obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Texas Tech University - Rawls College of Business, where they studied from 1996 to 2001. Michael also holds additional certifications, including an Associate of Risk Management (ARM) from The Institutes, a Senior Claims Law Associate (SCLA) from the American Educational Institute, and a Texas All Lines Adjuster certification from the Texas Department of Insurance.
