Coordinated Community Response Coordinator at Texas Council on Family Violence

Sarah Hilderbrand has over a decade of experience in the field of social work and victim services, currently serving as the Coordinated Community Response Coordinator and Family Violence Services Coordinator at the Texas Council on Family Violence since June 2014. Previous roles include Crimes Against Persons Training Specialist at the Texas Department of Public Safety, and various positions within the Austin Police Department's Victim Services and Family Violence Protection Unit, where responsibilities ranged from victim witness counseling to working as an MSSW intern. Early career experiences include advocacy and educational roles at organizations such as the National Domestic Violence Hotline and the Relationship and Sexual Violence Prevention Center. Sarah holds a Master of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in Women's and Gender Studies and Sociology from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
