Heather M. Baxter

Heather M. Baxter, M.Ed., currently serves as a County Support Liaison for the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles since January 2022. Previously, Heather held various positions at the Texas Division of Emergency Management from 2012 to 2021, beginning as a Grant Technician and advancing to Compliance Coordinator, where responsibilities included managing grant processes and ensuring compliance with federal requirements. Heather's experience also includes roles at Tammadge Market Research, Inc. as a Supervisor, and several positions at the Texas Education Agency, ranging from Auditor to Program Specialist. Early career positions included sales and customer service roles at On-X Life Technologies and a staffing specialist role at Dell Computers. Heather holds a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Education from Arizona State University.
