Leah Collins

Leah Collins is an experienced operations specialist currently employed at the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles since July 2019. Previously, Leah served as a mortgage loan closer at DHI Mortgage and as an analyst in residential servicing operations at CIT, where vendor oversight and training were key responsibilities. During a long tenure at OneWest Bank, Leah held multiple positions, including Specialist V in Preservation, where collaboration for process enhancements was emphasized, and a supervisory role managing a team of pre-market asset managers. Early in the career, Leah gained experience as a student records specialist at Round Rock ISD, contributing to state compliance processes. Leah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Special Education from Stephen F. Austin State University.
