Sonja Murillo

Sonja Murillo, CFE, currently serves as a Senior Internal Auditor at the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles since October 2023. Previously, Sonja held the position of Internal Auditor at the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department from April 2023 to October 2023, and worked at Texas Health and Human Services as both a Staff Auditor and Associate Auditor from November 2019 to March 2023. Additionally, Sonja gained experience as a Tax Accountant Intern at ScaleFactor from May 2019 to November 2019. Sonja earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Saint Leo University, where study occurred from 2017 to 2019, following an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management from the same institution from 2015 to 2017.
