Mary Anne Griss

Mary Anne Griss serves as the Chief of Staff for TxDOT, advising and providing direction on the implementation of the programs and policies, and overseeing and providing guidance to support the Texas Transportation Commission.

Griss has held transportation planning and policy positions in both the public and private sectors. She joined TxDOT in 1992 and has a great depth of knowledge about us. She has division and district experience and has worked on many high-profile TxDOT initiatives.

She has a Bachelor of Arts in city planning from Bryn Mawr College, and a Master of Science in community and regional planning from the University of Texas at Austin
