Sangit Rauniyar

Sangit Rauniyar, Ph.D., P.E., is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in structural and bridge engineering. Currently serving as the Design Team Lead in the Bridge Section of the Texas Department of Transportation since January 2021, Sangit has held previous positions including Senior Structural/Bridge Engineer at Parsons Brinckerhoff (now WSP USA) and Structural Design Engineer at Sabre Tubular Structures. A strong foundation in structural analysis and design was established with a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the Institute of Engineering and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering-Structural from The University of Texas at Arlington. With additional experience in project planning and coordination across various engineering roles, Sangit has demonstrated proficiency in cost estimation, design optimization, and client collaboration.
