Tanu Gadiyar

Tanu Gadiyar is a Vehicle Dynamics Engineer and Lead at Longhorn Racing Combustion since August 2022, overseeing the design, manufacturing, and validation of suspension systems for Formula SAE vehicles, while managing CAD assemblies and developing suspension parameters using Matlab and Excel models. Additional experience includes working as a Student Assistant at Texas Inventionworks from January 2023, managing 3D printing and fabrication tools, and teaching safe operation to students. A Drive Unit Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Tesla in early 2024, Tanu supported the Cybertruck Tri-motor Drive Unit line and focused on tooling and maintenance of non-conforming units. As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at AYRO Inc. in the summer of 2023, Tanu developed mechanical designs for low-speed electric vehicles using Solidworks, enhancing packaging solutions for components. Tanu is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, expected to graduate in May 2026.
