John Wilkerson

John Wilkerson is an experienced professional serving as the Mayor of the City of Kempner since May 2019, having previously held the position of Alderman. In addition to this role, John has been an Adjunct Instructor at Central Texas College since June 2018. With a law enforcement background, John has served as a Deputy Sheriff for the Bell County Sheriff Department since October 2013 and has been the Legislative Liaison for the Texas Municipal Police Association since July 2012. John holds an Associate of Arts degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from the University of Phoenix, completed between 2009 and 2011.
