Brett Millan has extensive experience in academia, currently serving as the Associate Vice President for Academic Success & Advancement and holding multiple adjunct and professorial roles at South Texas College since August 2000. Millan has also worked in various capacities at the institution, including Special Assistant to the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Interim Associate Dean of Distance Learning. Additionally, Millan has served as a Notary Public for the Texas Office of the Secretary of State since January 1999, and previously held the position of Contract Language Monitor for the FBI from August 2004 to May 2010. Millan's educational background includes an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Instructional Technology from Texas A&M University-Kingsville, an MBA in Data Analytics from LSU Shreveport, and multiple degrees in English and Anthropology from The University of Texas-Pan American, along with an Associate’s Degree in Graphic Arts from South Texas College.
