Paul Hopson Psp

Paul Hopson, PSP, currently serves as the Compliance Team Lead at Texas Reliability Entity, Inc. since August 2016. Prior to this role, Paul was the Information Security Officer at the Public Utility Commission of Texas from December 1998 to March 2016, focusing on protecting the agency's information assets and managing vulnerabilities. Paul also served in the US Army Reserve as Chief Paralegal NCO, attaining the rank of 1SG/E-8 until retirement in July 2002. Other experience includes positions as a Network Specialist at the Texas Attorney General's Child Support Division and the Texas Rehabilitation Commission. Paul holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems from Wayland Baptist University and an Associate’s Degree in Computer Information Systems/Accounting from St. Philip's College, with additional education from Vincennes University.
